Literary Salon
Like a book club, but for ideas! Our monthly salons area an opportunity for book lovers of all sorts to come together and discuss a variety of literary topic. Each month, we focus on a different theme, often with a guest speaker to start off the discussion. There's always plenty of time for general literary conversation, too, including sharing book recommendations and writing ideas. See below for details of the upcoming months' salons!

September: Battle of the Books
Sunday, 9/13, 3pm
Percussion in the Valley
133372 E. Crowther Rd
In advance of our Adult Battle of the Books event, this salon will be an opportunity to talk about how we read books when we're reading for a competition - and what it even means to read competitively! If you're signed up for the Battle of the Books, this is a great opportunity to get more information about the competition and how it works. If you're not signed up, this is your chance to learn about the event for next time, or just talk about the books on the competition list. (See the book list here)
