The Palmer Arts Council presents an evening of piano performances on our beautiful Bailey piano. Our featured guest performer is internationally acclaimed pianist, Roman Rudnytsky. He will be joined by several local talented performers.
Roman is an American concert pianist of Ukrainian background. A graduate of the Juilliard School, he has been playing concerts around the world for many years. To date, he has played in 100 countries and on 80 cruises of Cunard and P&O ships.
He has been soloist with many orchestras around the world and played in 38 countries between 1984 and the pandemic through US Embassies and Consulates as a kind of “cultural ambassador”. He was also for many years a university professor piano and music—mostly at Youngstown OH State University—Dana School of Music, where, after retirement from there, he is now “Professor Emeritus”. Roman has made eight tours in Alaska and played a recital through the Palmer Arts Council a couple of years ago.
