Summer Music Workshop

Are you a young musician looking to hone your improvisation skills, meet other musicians, and practice playing in a small group? Join us for a six part workshop series at the Palmer Art's Council's summer music workshop! Each group will learn 4-5 songs out of the Real Easy Book vol I or II (copy included with registration) under the guidance of a local music professional, and perform them live for a final concert!

Workshop sessions will be held Monday, Tuesday, Thursday the last two weeks of July at St John Lutheran Church in Palmer at the following times:

Beginner: 12 pm to 2 pm

Intermediate: 2 pm to 4 pm

Advanced: 4 pm to 6 pm

A final concert of all three groups will be held on Friday, July 26 at 5:30 pm, also at St John.

Registration is NOW OPEN, and will run until June 30 or until the camp is filled. The cost is $100 per student. Limited scholarship opportunities may be available. For more information, email Sam Dinges at palmerartscouncil@gmail.com.
